Change on page design?

I´m preparing the chapter 9 of "Angel Guardian" and this is the best moment to see if readers want a change!  


So, if you read the stories in any of the sites #webtoons, #tapastic #Smackjeeves, i would like to know if you want i keep the design of pages at the traditional way or if you would like i addapt pages to the webcomic format (individual frames in vertical page).

The callenge for "Angel Guardian" characters.

Speaking of characters with @michellegd99, came a theme song: Y.M.C.A, which became the challenge to draw: make the characters of "Angel Guardian" as the characters of the band looking sexy.😏

 Thus, Kyrsiel is the mason, Gersiel is the Indian Chief, Agramón is the policeman and Ronny is the gangster (who else could be but him!).😜 

The cowboy was missing. There is a character that still does not appear in the story that would have done the role very well ... maybe later I draw the cowboy alone.

 I tried that each character agreed on something with my characters so that they could look more real in their personification. And ... why a demon as a cop? Well, I'm sure he'll be happy to punish anyone who is not well! Hahahahaha😂😂😂

 It was supposed to be just a sketch, but I ended up trying out the marker brush and I loved it! I still have to practice more to take the trick because my tablet does not register very well the pressure for the low memory of my laptop but it is a matter of practicing more!

 I had so much fun with this challenge and I laughed a lot with the stories we were creating with them!

PC working again...now...what?

Well, as some of you already know, my PC is finally working again!!

I could save the money for the repair and fortunately, the motherboard could be saved.

Now, that i recovered my main tool of work...what is the next step?

Well, i´ve begin to work on illustrations!  For my Patreon supporters, i´m working an illustration based on a Final Fantasy character.  It´s in progress yet:

About manga stories:

1. I began to do updates for readers of "Angel Guardian" in Tapastic and LineWebtoons
2. "Weakness" is beginning to be updated in Tapastic and LineWebtoons.
3. "Fat Neko and Tanuki Girl"  are being updated in Tapastic and LineWebtoons

Aditionally to this, my friend Lucius and I are working on a short thriller story.  Soon we will share more details.

In the Facebook fanpages, we did a folder where you could find easily the products available about our stories en Zazzle.  Soon, we will do the same about the other stores.

 As you see, we had not wasted time to begin to work hard on the stories and continue doing our best!

I have not planned yet when i will return to update the others fancomics and stories, but as soon as i have time, i will be working on them!

I've been pretty busy last weeks with the project of "Fat Neko and Tanuki Girl". We are working hard on it and having fun!!!

At the same time, I've been working with other ideas and updating sites.  So finally i put on day the stores with the last designs available in different products.

Long time since i did an update here!

It has been a little difficult because my pc is damaged and i`m working with an old one that is very, very slow, so i just review quickly some pages and i prefer to give more attention to continue drawing the manga.

I decided to work on my own Patreon page, so i could buy the piece i need for repair my pc and work faster and with better quality.

Looking at the road traveled ...

Today, i realize that i`m almost finishing the second part of chapter 8 of "Angel Guardian".

I really cannot believe how far i arrived with this story!

When i decided to work on it, i was in a very bad moment in my personal life, so i decided to take the old concepts and story i wrote years ago and began to rewrite it and remake the characters just like a personal therapy to try to surpass the moment.

At the two weeks of begin to work on the sketches and pages, i received a call. Someone was working in a project of a magazine online and wanted to see my works. When i finished the call i really couldn't believe it!

That was the beginning of the journey. That was the impulse i was needing to begin my path of my dream to make manga.

Nowadays, when i look back i cannot say i wasted my time waiting for the perfect moment to begin. The perfect moment arrived itself. When i look the first pages and compare them with the last done, i cannot feel ashamed but proud of myself to keep compromised to improve. Every single panel is full of happy and cheering days and sad and tearful days.

With this, i learned the following life lessons:

• There is not perfect moment to begin something. You make the moment perfect and the decision to begin something is in your own hands.
• The begining is hard, but you have to be strong enough to continue if that is your dream.
• Cheer yourself! And that will give you energy to cheer others!
• In art, what you do today and you think is perfect it will not be at your own eyes in the future. That is normal! So never wait until you can draw perfectly because perfection is a never ending way.
• Thanks to everybody that give you a critic. They are your teachers without the title.
• And the more important: practice, practice, practice! Day after day, days and nights, in every free moment, in any piece of paper you have.

I must admit I`ve never watched an Oscar show so i do not have more idea about how is the process to entry to the place more that some scenes i`ve watched in any film. Due I did this in my job during my lunch hour, i could not have references for the car and the entrance of the place, so i had to do it by memory >////< ...maybe i will try to make a better version if I decide to do it in color.

Sketches done today

Almost daily, i`m practicing during my lunch hour sketching things.  I could not upload them here because my computer was not recognizing the scanner, until today.  But i post pics of them in my Facebook.

Today, i wanted to practice expressions based on the interaction of characters with others:

The first two are Kyrsiel and Midori: her guardian angel not always understood by her .  
The second sketch is Kyrsiel and Ronny, those two are crazy!.  
The third sketch are Gersiel and Agramòn:  they cannot see to each other even in pics.  I could say that demon is the only one able to put Gersiel in very, very bad mood!
The four sketch is Gersiel and Mitharael:  his favorite former student.

I think i did these sketches in around 15 minutes.  I had not a lot time today after i ate my lunch

When you lose your main tool...

Since my computer began to have troubles, the amount of work i could produce began to decreased.  That made me feel very upset and frustrated, because i use to push me hard to produce as much work as i can during the few hours i can work during nights.

Finally, my pc was not continue working.  First weekend i thought i would be crazy!  I felt i was wasting time!  I was very depressed and i kept sleeping almost one entire day trying to evade my worries about the situation.

A good friend has been trying hard to give me a hand with this trouble but something must be very wrong with my pc because nothing have let it begin to work.

Last weekend, i began to work with my old and very noble pc.  She is very slow, has few memory, no graphic card but gives her best.  So, i`m helping myself with her until i can find a final solution.

Trying to find something positive in all of this, I thought maybe this is an exercise to improve my patience and make me slow down.  I must admit i do not have a lot and i always want to finish things as fast as i can, so i stress myself as if an editor was calling me every five minutes to ask me about the pages or illustrations pending.

Searching for a way to canalice my stress, I returned to practice a little of traditional art and it was a very relaxing experience.  I review written chapters of the stories and i did more material and sketches of some complicated scenes that i was plotting since long time.  I will continue working on manga and pending illustrations even when i have to dedicate more time than i use to.

By the way, these are sketches done today during my lunch hour.  I really had not anything in mind, i just began to scratch and these were the results XD

When characters claim for more attention...

Characters are like little children.  They want to catch your attention and give you more ideas about their stories.

It could be good because you always have a new idea, but when you manage different stories and ALL those characters want to catch your attention, be prepared for a war in your head!

Lately, my characters Armand from the story Mission Sentinel and Kyrsiel from Angel Guardian have a real fight in my head!  Ideas for illustrations, new pages, action sequences...i would like to draw as faster as they whisper all that ideas in my head!

So, i did a quick sketch about it.  Gersiel is always at the side of their troubles!  He stay there but not making a lot noise, waiting for the proper moment to talk.

Inking the chapter 8 of Angel Guardian,

I´m Inking the first page of chapter 8...there is a lot work ahead yet to complete this chapter!

While i´m inking some pages, i took a break and did a quick sketch of Agramon. This guy looks a little mad! XD

I wanted to work today with Midori. I was curious to know how she would look like wearing Kyrsiel´s uniform, so i did it!

Hatraziel Sketch

Today, i worked with Hatraziel, the little guardian angel of Kyrsiel and Gersiel´s adoptive mother.

Hatraziel enjoys a lot to make Kyrsiel feels like a fool when he does something wrong.

It was a little difficult to do the pose using the arc and arrow, because i did not have any references and i couldn´t do the pose at the office to understand the position of the body.

Hoy, he trabajado con Hatraziel, el pequeño ángel de la guarda de la madre adoptiva de Kyrsiel y Gersiel.

Hatraziel disfruta mucho hacer que Kyrsiel se sienta como un tonto cuando hace algo mal.

Fue un poco difícil hacer la pose con el arco y la flecha, porque  no tenía ninguna referencia y no pude hacer la pose en la oficina para entender la posición del cuerpo.
