Character Design sketch Kamijo

Since I am writing a fanfic about my favorite Jrock band, i want to do a manga version, so i began to do the character design.  It will be a slow and personal project, because I am working on other two manga stories with more priority.

The callenge for "Angel Guardian" characters.

Speaking of characters with @michellegd99, came a theme song: Y.M.C.A, which became the challenge to draw: make the characters of "Angel Guardian" as the characters of the band looking sexy.😏

 Thus, Kyrsiel is the mason, Gersiel is the Indian Chief, Agramón is the policeman and Ronny is the gangster (who else could be but him!).😜 

The cowboy was missing. There is a character that still does not appear in the story that would have done the role very well ... maybe later I draw the cowboy alone.

 I tried that each character agreed on something with my characters so that they could look more real in their personification. And ... why a demon as a cop? Well, I'm sure he'll be happy to punish anyone who is not well! Hahahahaha😂😂😂

 It was supposed to be just a sketch, but I ended up trying out the marker brush and I loved it! I still have to practice more to take the trick because my tablet does not register very well the pressure for the low memory of my laptop but it is a matter of practicing more!

 I had so much fun with this challenge and I laughed a lot with the stories we were creating with them!

I`m feeling nostalgic about old school anime series, so i decided to do a fanart of one of those series i loved a lot:  Captain Future.

I expect i can complete it tonight if my back let me stay sit a couple of more hours XD

Since i had not a lot creativity during my lunch hour, i did the classical scene with a vampire with my own touch. A partner in my job made me realize about some mistakes in his arm and shoulder.

In the moment he helped me to change my perception of the drawing, i could see the mistakes. It`s very useful to have someone that give you this kind of help, especially when the critic is very polite and give you feedback for improve ^^

These were the sketches done today.

 I worked with the characters of the Legacy of Kain fancomic, Weakness: Raziel, Zephon and a chibi Raziel because i had not more time! XD

Sketches done today

Almost daily, i`m practicing during my lunch hour sketching things.  I could not upload them here because my computer was not recognizing the scanner, until today.  But i post pics of them in my Facebook.

Today, i wanted to practice expressions based on the interaction of characters with others:

The first two are Kyrsiel and Midori: her guardian angel not always understood by her .  
The second sketch is Kyrsiel and Ronny, those two are crazy!.  
The third sketch are Gersiel and Agramòn:  they cannot see to each other even in pics.  I could say that demon is the only one able to put Gersiel in very, very bad mood!
The four sketch is Gersiel and Mitharael:  his favorite former student.

I think i did these sketches in around 15 minutes.  I had not a lot time today after i ate my lunch

Practicing semi realism

I´ve drawn him like chibi, but i never had the courage to try to do it...until now.  His jacket was a never ending task, but i had a lot of fun!!   Sometimes i think i should try to do that kind of laces with a Photoshop brush, but i had a lot of fun trying to interpretate them.

For those that not know him, he is ZIN, vocalist of the j-rock band Jupiter.

Inking the chapter 8 of Angel Guardian,

I´m Inking the first page of chapter 8...there is a lot work ahead yet to complete this chapter!

While i´m inking some pages, i took a break and did a quick sketch of Agramon. This guy looks a little mad! XD

I wanted to work today with Midori. I was curious to know how she would look like wearing Kyrsiel´s uniform, so i did it! 

Do not complain, Kyrsiel!

Quise trabajar hoy con Midori. Tenía curiosidad por saber cómo se vería vestida con el uniforme de Kyrsiel, así que lo hice!

The Prince - Sketch

Today, i worked with the character The Prince of the fancomic "Renascence"

The Prince is totally childish, a little mischievous and he enjoys to annoy to his sister, The Princess.

El Príncipe es totalmente infantil, un poco travieso y le gusta molestar a su hermana, La Princesa.

Today, i worked with Hatraziel, the little guardian angel of Kyrsiel and Gersiel´s adoptive mother.

Hatraziel enjoys a lot to make Kyrsiel feels like a fool when he does something wrong.

It was a little difficult to do the pose using the arc and arrow, because i did not have any references and i couldn´t do the pose at the office to understand the position of the body.

Hoy, he trabajado con Hatraziel, el pequeño ángel de la guarda de la madre adoptiva de Kyrsiel y Gersiel.

Hatraziel disfruta mucho hacer que Kyrsiel se sienta como un tonto cuando hace algo mal.

Fue un poco difícil hacer la pose con el arco y la flecha, porque  no tenía ninguna referencia y no pude hacer la pose en la oficina para entender la posición del cuerpo.

Raziel Sketch

The character for the sketch of today was Raziel with the design for the fancomic "Weakness".

I did a quick sketch for the last one, but i would like to find a pic for reference and do a better drawing of that pose. I realized i could not see how the muscles of the arm might look on that way.

Hice un boceto rápido para el último, pero me gustaría encontrar una foto de referencia y hacer un mejor dibujo de esa pose. Me di cuenta de que no podía ver cómo los músculos del brazo lucirían de esa manera.

Weekend over!

This weekend was not very productive for me.  I´ve been feeling very tired and i was not very creative.

I just did two illustrations.  One of a little dragon and other a quick sketch of Raziel and Reene, the characters of my fancomic "Weakness"

Thanksfully i will have two weeks of vacation in 3 more weeks.  I have a very high debt of sleep with my body.  I hope to be in better mood tomorrow because i must to finish a couple of illustrations!

Well, time to go bed!
